Sister Wives’ Christina Brown and husband Kody have announced their decision to split after 25 years of ‘marriage’.

The revelation will come as no surprise to viewers after the pair have been seen dealing with marital issues for the past few years on this hit series.

Sharing the news with fans on her Instagram page Tuesday, the 49-year-old wrote: ‘After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.

‘We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.’

She added: ‘At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family. With love, Christine Brown.’

‘Thanks for your understanding and compassion! #journey #hope #change #changeisgood #changeisscary,’ she added in the caption.

‘Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.’

Kody and Christine spiritually married in 1994 and they share children Mykelti, Aspyn, Ysabel, Paedon, Gwendlyn and Truley.
