WATCH: Recovering Rafael Nadal Continues to Ace the Tennis Ball on a Different Court
20-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal ended his 2021 season before the US Open, citing a persistent foot injury. Fortunately, his recovery is going well, and he is already looking forward to playing next. What’s more interesting, Nadal recently appeared at the Babolat event in Paris and put his exceptional backhand on a show on a mini tennis court.
Notably, Babolat is a French sports equipment company and the Spaniard’s racquet sponsors, too. Thus, it was only coincidently that Nadal visited Paris during the ongoing Rolex Paris Masters 2021 despite not playing. However, he did seem to have a good time playing on the miniature tennis court.

Rafael Nadal pulls off a backhand smash on a mini tennis court
Unquestionably, Rafael Nadal is one of the few rare players who have an enticing playing style. Whether it is a hard court, grass court, preferred clay court, or even a mini tennis court, Nadal is always fun to watch.

Besides, even in fun, the Spaniard is determined to remain competitive. Accordingly, Nadal exhibited some classic backhand skills on the miniature tennis court during the latest Babolat event.
Later on, the French sports equipment company also uploaded the mini-session on their Instagram story. Indeed, Nadal left his opponent nervous even in a friendly contest.

Furthermore, Babolat also uploaded another video of Nadal perfecting a backhand smash on the mini court. The Spaniard, as in public, humbly smiles after acing that one.
They captioned the video, “Different racquet, different court, same talent. King.” Without a doubt, he is one of the undisputed kings of tennis.
