Antonio Brown Injury Update: Positive News for Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fans

Fans spotted Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown riding a bicycle wearing a walking boot on his injured left leg, as was seen in his Instagram stories. As he heals from his ankle sprain, the wideout missed his Sunday fixture against the New Orleans Saints.

It is definitely an encouraging sign for those who follow the Buccaneers closely or have Antonio Brown in their fantasy squad. But is it really a good sign for the 33-year-old as judging by his suspenseful injury, he has no definite return date as of now.

Antonio Brown riding a bike

Although according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport in his Bucs’ injury report ahead of the Saints game revealed that Brown is expected to be back before the Bucs meet the Washington Redskins after their week 9 bye. And so with that positive news, Antonio’s addition to the squad will be of great help to the Brady-led offense.

Tom Brady, along with his squad, failed to produce desirable numbers against the Saints in week 8 and succumbed to their overpowering defense in the end. And the lacking of his two favorite targets seems to expose the whole team in a bad way. However, Brady’s three overturns late in the game made the Bucs even more vulnerable on the scoreboard.

— Antonio Brown is likely back after the bye from foot/heel injuries.
— CBs Carlton Davis and Sean Murphy-Bunting are also progressing well and could be back after the bye, as well. https://t.co/nndcU30AFt

Tampa Bay Buccaneers to go full throttle in week 10?

The inefficiency against the Saints proved Brady needs his injured bishop and knight, Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski. After Gronkowski’s unfortunate tweak again in the Sunday night game, his next expected recovery date seems to coincide with Brown’s.

And with that, if the two beasts return well before their week 10 game, it would be an enormous gain for the Bucs. With the likes of these two players, the Bucs squad will look deadlier just as before. And since Antonio looks well within his recovery schedule, it is expected of him to deliver more good news before his next game.
