Love Island contestant Liberty Poole was seen taking quite the fall while training for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice.

The 22-year-old was photographed lying flat on her back on the ice and being helped back up by her coach.

However, she seemed to maintain her spirits high throughout the incident as she appeared to be smiling.

During training, Liberty was wearing a white long-sleeve knit jumper, a black bodywarmer, and black gym leggings.

Her hair she kept in a voluminous ponytail plait while she wore a full face of makeup.

Despite temporarily losing her balance, the Birmingham native has been adapting well to her new life on skates as she prepares for the series launch in January of next year.

Liberty has been sharing her skating journey with her fans online since first setting foot on the ice less than two weeks ago.

She recently posted a series of Instagram stories about managing to unlock backwards crossovers and even a little spin.

‘Perseverance is key,’ she told her over 1.5million followers.

Last week the reality TV star shared a picture of her first day in the rink alongside Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, who will also appear on ITV’s ice dancing show.

While then she was wearing a cropped workout set, her fashion sense seems to have definitely adapted to the reality of training on the ice for hours.

‘Trying to keep your balance doing all these crazy moves on the ice is kinda harder than it looks but I’m loving every minute of it!’ she wrote.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the star also confirmed that she doesn’t yet know who her partner on the show will be, but she has her eyes set on one person in particular.

‘I find out my partner next week, I don’t know who it is yet but I’ve always liked Matt Evers, I’ve always watched him on the show for years,’ she said.

‘To be honest, there’s no one that I really dislike so anyone I’m partnered with, I wouldn’t mind because I think they’re all so talented.’

She added: ‘I don’t know yet but apparently they’re super bubbly like me so hopefully they’ll be good.’
