A team that just won in a dominating fashion last week has been hit with a humongous blow. The Raiders’ WR Henry Ruggs has been released by the club due to serious DUI charges.
Henry Ruggs III charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henry Ruggs III was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) resulting in a fatality when his automobile rear-ended another car, killing one person. Owing to his actions, the wide receiver was released by the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday night.

Early Tuesday, at 3:39 a.m., LVMPD went to an accident near an intersection where they discovered a Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota RAV4 on fire. Firefighters arrived and discovered a person deceased inside the Toyota, according to authorities. “The preliminary investigation indicates the front of the Chevrolet collided with the rear of the Toyota,” LVMPD concluded in a Twitter thread. Ruggs, 22, was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet and remained on the scene where he was showing signs of impairment, police said. [via CNN]
