‘True Heir to Steph’s Throne’: Warriors Fans React to Jordan Poole’s Brilliance vs Hornets

On November 3rd, 2021, the Warriors ended their game’s first half an inch ahead of the Hornets at 52-53. Surprisingly, Stephen Curry was not the primary scorer for the Warriors this time. It was Jordan Poole’s time to shine. Stephen Curry had a disappointing first-half performance where he went 2 of 7 from the field. Nevertheless Curry ended the game with an all-around performance with 9 assists and 8 rebounds.

However, Jordan Poole took over the offense responsibility and did it really well. He scored 31 points shooting 7 of 16 from the 3 point line. Here’s how the fans reacted to this first half balling out from Jordan Poole.

What does this mean for the Warriors and the Hornets?

For the Hornets, the Miles Bridges show continued as he had another impressive performance on both ends of the floor. He scored 21 points in the first half and made an exceptional block on the defensive end. He has had an incredible start to this season.

Bridges ended the game with 32 points. Along with LaMelo Ball, he looks like the next big thing for Michal Jordan‘s Charlotte Hornets.

Simultaneously, for the Warriors, this performance is a true testament to the diversity and depth of talent in this roster. Not just the veterans, even the young stars like Jordan Poole can carry the offense on an off night for any of the veterans.

Many experts including Warriors’ players like Draymond were skeptical of the Warriors’ approach to this season. This combination of young talent and a veteran core to make the championship run was on the test. However, it seems like Steve Kerr has found yet another tactic of coaching brilliance and that is unfolding well.

Have Golden State found the next Splash Brother?

Before the much-anticipated return of Klay Thompson to NBA action, the Warriors seem to have found a future all-star. Usually, when Stephen Curry was not on the floor, the Warriors often had a breakdown on the offensive end. However, tonight whenever Curry was not on the floor, Jordan Poole did not let the Warriors face any trouble.

Safe to ask, is Jordan Poole the next big thing from the Warriors? Let us know what you think.
