WWE star Bayley shaves clock into hair as she teases injury comeback with style change

Tick tock? (Picture: WWE)

WWE superstar Bayley has sent a message with her latest hairstyle as she had a very telling design shaved into the back of her head.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion, who is currently out of action after suffering an injury in training back in July, has given fans a unique hint that she’s on the comeback trail.

She’s now got a clock face shaved into her hair at the back, and fans immediately took it as a sign she’s preparing for a return.

She captioned the photo: ‘We rarely think about the fundamental nature of time… But when it’s time, you will damn sure know. @WWE #remodel #rolemodel’

‘Are you giving a hint to what’s to come,’ one follower pondered.

Another tweeted: ‘Super cool! Cant wait to see you back soon <3’

And a different fan put two and two together and may have got four, as they realised the clock hands seem to be edging closer to two o’clock, which could point to a potential return date.

They said: ‘I think that’s the small hand on the right… so 1:55-ish? Almost 2. Almost February. Rumble time?’

We can only hope, although back in July WWE suggested her layoff could be longer.

They said: ‘WWE Digital has learned that Bayley sustained an injury while training for her WWE Money in the Bank match against Bianca Belair and will be out approximately nine months.’

As fans have seen in the past though, these timetables can often be shorter than first feared, so hopefully it’s not too long until Bayley is back in the ring.

This year, she should be lined up for a major WrestleMania match after getting snubbed last year – and we’re still pulling for a match against SmackDown commentator Michael Cole.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk shortly before suffering her injury, she said: ‘Oh, I will make it happen! Don’t even worry about! It’ll happen.’

She’s also got plenty of other dream bouts in mind, ranging from legends and former foes to rising stars.

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘I have so much respect and some history with Serena Deeb. I would love, love, love to be able to have a match with her one day. She helped me so much in my early career to get to SHIMMER. That would be so awesome.’

As well as name-dropping the likes of Meiko Satamura and Kay Lee Ray, she pointed to Lita and Candice LaRae, adding: ‘Always since a kid, Lita was a dream opponent. In NXT, I’ve always wanted to work with Candice. I’ve only ever been able to team with her.’
