How Did Hulk Hogan Lose His Massive $30 Million Net Worth?

The WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan is so popular with the wrestling fans that the name Hogan itself stands as a synonym to the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet, WWE.

However, being the most talented and respected wrestler of all time cannot guarantee that the wealth coming from performing inside the ring day in and day out will stay forever.

The same happened with the former WWE Champion as he found himself in shambles when he found himself almost broke in 2011. So how did the Hulkster slip down the pile of $30 million in 2011, and how did he get back on the top? Let’s find out.

Hulk Hogan easily comes in the Mount Rushmore of pro-wrestling, and there are no two ways around it. However, 2007 proved to be a tough year for the Hulkster because his wife, Linda Claridge, filed for divorce.

On top of that, Hulk’s son, Nick Hogan, was involved in a car accident where his passenger was seriously injured. Eventually, Nick had to serve time in prison, which caused monetary issues as well.

At this point in life, Hulk only did a few guest appearances for WWE and some talks shows, and his lavish lifestyle was finally catching up to him.

Launching his own nutrition products

Hogan tapped into the health and nutrition market by launching the website Hogan nutrition. The website features nutritional and dietary products. On the website, Hogan endorses and sells various vitamins, skincare, muscle builders, and diet brands.

Multiple TV appearances

Now, anyone who watched the Hulk’s movies in the late 80s and 90s instantly realized that the former WCW champion is not an actor by any means.

However, this never stopped the Hulkster from making guest appearances on multiple TV reality shows and collecting cheques from attracting massive audiences because of his larger-than-life personality. He even started his own reality tv show called, ‘Hogan Knows Best’.

Hulk Hogan – The face of endorsements

When you are as popular as Hulk Hogan, it seems natural to see multiple endorsement deals coming your way. And Hogan grabbed every opportunity to advertise for a product.

He teamed up with LoanMart, Super Beta Sports Supplements, and Rent-A-Center, which kept him relevant in the eyes of the public and the Hulkster did it gladly.

Now, it looks like the former WWE Champion has toned down his lavish lifestyle and enjoys the brief cameos he does with WWE. Currently, Hogan is happily retired and spending his time with his family.
