“I’m Gonna Beat That Sale” – Bruce Buffer Challenges Conor McGregor to Keep Up With the Sales of Puncher’s Chance

Bruce Buffer is one of the most known voices in the world of combat sports. He has been the voice of UFC for over 25 years now and is loved by the fans.

But working with the UFC is not the only thing he’s involved in. Buffer is an agent/manager of his brother, Michael Buffer. His brother is also an announcer, but for boxing. He is famous for his catchphrase, ‘Let’s get ready to rumble.’ Bruce Buffer has also invested in a few drinks. One of them is ‘Puncher’s Chance.’ It is a bourbon whisky, in which Bruce Buffer is heavily involved.

When asked about the whisky and how involved he is in it, he said, “We’ve won six gold medals for the finest tasting bourbon in America. Three gold medals for the finest design bottle. I have the bottles made in France. I’m very heavily involved, I’m a partner in the company. I’m involved in all the marketing and the decision-making process.”

“Right now, we are the fastest-selling, highest-rated craft distilled bourbon in America. Conor McGregor, you can sell your Proper 12 and still hang on. I’m gonna beat that sale. Watch what I do in the next five years,” he added.

Along with the investment in Puncher’s Chance, Buffer has also invested in an energy drink called It’s Time. It’s based on his famous catchphrase, ‘It’s Time.’

Bruce Buffer to return for UFC 268

UFC 267 was one of the biggest UFC events of the year. Millions tuned in to watch it, and it was a success. However, there was one thing missing from it. Bruce Buffer, the voice of the octagon for over 25 years, missed the event and was replaced by Joe Martinez. This is the first PPV that Buffer has missed since UFC 8 in 1996.

He missed the event because of being diagnosed with COVID-19. UFC President Dana White made the announcement of him missing the event a few days before the event. He said, “Buffer got COVID. He didn’t want to make this trip. He’s home relaxing and recovering from COVID.”

But the legendary voice of the octagon will be back for UFC 268, and fans will be excited to watch him announce the fights. The event is at the ‘Mecca,’ Madison Square Garden, and has some of the biggest names in the game on the card.

Do you think his whisky can give Proper 12 a run for its money? Let us know in the comments!
