Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney & the Other Team Penske Members Pay Tribute to Departing Brad Keselowski Ahead of Final Race

Just one race remains until Brad Keselowski ends an 11-year association with Team Penske. Beyond that, he will move to the Roush-Fenway Racing team. Of course, Penske wanted to do something special to reward Keselowski for his loyalty to them. This sort of loyalty gave them the 2012 Cup Series championship. Recently, the team released a video where Keselowski’s teammates and team owner Roger Penske spoke about the driver.

Ryan Blaney said, “He has obviously had a big impact on Team Penske and my racing career. I wouldn’t be at Team Penske if it weren’t for Brad. It’s been really cool to have him as a boss and have him as a teammate. To be able to learn from him, and from there we learned from each other.”

Meanwhile, Cindric confessed that Keselowski helped lay down the foundation for his career. As it turns out, when he fielded his own racing team in the Truck Series, he had an opening and gambled on Cindric. Despite his limited experience, it seriously helped in boosting the incoming Penske driver’s career. In all, Brad Keselowski acted as a role model.

Teammate Joey Logano declared that the #2 driver has been one of his best teammates on the track. Together, the two of them have often pushed each other to improve. According to the #22 driver, Keselowski tends to challenge him and he hoped that he reciprocated in kind.

Finally, team owner Roger Penske thanked the driver for being a key member of the team. He also called the driver a ‘true champion’ for the Team Penske organisation. Ever since he first raced for the outfit in 2009, he kept on delivering great results. This included nearly 70 NASCAR wins and 35 poles for the team. As a result, he has become the most successful Team Penske driver and delivered their first title in the Cup and Xfinity Series.
