Although we all want our Christmas trees to look lively, full, and stylish, this is no easy feat.
Thankfully, one woman online shared her tips on how to crush the decorating game.
Liz, a Canadian interior designer who goes by her username @lizluxehome, posted a video on TikTok that showed users how they could give their Christmas tree a fuller look while using fewer decorations.
She recommended taking three ornament balls and attaching them to each other with a zip tie.
After tightening the zip tie and cutting off the excess, Liz then attached a small wire ornament hanger to one of the balls’ hooks so that she could hang the trio on her tree.
With the ornaments packed together rather than scantily spread, her tree took on a lavish, jolly appearance.

Liz has offered her followers many other handy holiday tips that are worth trying this year.
Besides bunching ornaments, Liz recommended fluffing your Christmas tree before decorating, hanging colorful ribbons on its branches, and using twigs and florals as a tree topper.
In other videos, she showed off her impressive wrapping tactic and shared a creative way to gift money. (Spoiler alert: it involved rolling dollar bills and holly leaves into a clear ball ornament and topping it with a bow.)
One can never have enough holiday hacks!
A professional Christmas tree decorator shared how she decorates her pine trees on a budget.
“Today, we are going to the Dollar Tree to design a Christmas tree on a budget,” she began in her video.
She then revealed that before actually begins grabbing anything, she will set a budget – for this occasion, it was $45 – and a theme.
At the time, she picked elves as her motive.
AB then proceeded to go through the entire store, seeing what they had, before picking and choosing.
This method actually helps people stay within budget because they tend to go into a store and grab the first thing that catches their attention.
“Dollar Tree definitely had some hidden gems,” she said as she began grabbing a few basic decorations like ribbons, red balls, and snowflakes.
Discount stores are usually great places to get basic items, like decorations and home items.
“I did do some DIY ornaments though because the Dollar tree didn’t have some things I was looking for,” she claimed.
However, she showed that she bought individual items to make custom Christmas tree balls.
Following her video, many took to the comment section to reveal how they saved money during Christmas shopping.
One person revealed they reuse their old Christmas tree decorations from previous years because it’s “so fun seeing all the old memories and ornaments we did in school.”
Another person added that they also bought some ornaments from Home Depot, which also carries cheap decorations.
