Kanye West is officially ready to end his bitter beef with Drake and he wants to do it on-stage for the world to see.

The hip hop stars have feuded for several years now with rumours suggesting Drake was romantically involved with Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian, while the rappers have traded insults and subliminals through their music.

However, Kanye, 44, has made a public plea for Drake to join him at a concert in Los Angeles next month so they can bury the hatchet.

In a video shared by music executive J Prince, the Gold Digger rapper reads from his phone and says: ‘I’m making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest.

‘I’m asking Drake on December 7 to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year live in Los Angeles with the ultimate purpose being to free Larry Hoover.’

He’s not exaggerating about having the two biggest albums of the year as Drake’s Certified Lover Boy and Kanye’s Donda both reached number one around the world, selling around 600,000 and 313,000 album-equivalent units respectively.

The rappers released the albums on the same day in a perhaps not-so-coincidental move as Drake is reported to have intentionally changed his release date to clash with his rival.

Kanye also made reference to Larry Hoover, the convicted gang leader who is currently serving six life sentences in Colorado.

The rapper, who now goes by the name Ye, previously attempted to free Hoover by appealing to former US President Donald Trump in 2018. However, he was unsuccessful.

In his video plea to Drake, Kanye continued: ‘I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people – everywhere – how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.’

Sharing his perspective, J Prince tweeted alongside the clip: ‘So I met with @kanyewest to pass on the message from my brother Larry Hoover who said he would like to see peace between the two of them. Ye received this well and said thanks because he never had anyone that sat him down and explained things to him the way I did.

‘I’m looking forward to all of us working together in unison to elevate our communities around the world.’

It comes just days after the All Of The Lights rapper discussed their feud in his Drink Champs interview.

He explained: ‘Drake don’t do an outright diss song where it’s a headshot. He’s gonna set it up like war.

‘He’s gonna do stuff like, live five blocks down the street from you. He’s gonna go and DM every single girl in your family, every single girl around your family. All your n****s’ girls. It’s away games and home games. This is professional rap.’

Drake, 34, is yet to respond to Kanye’s request.
