Strictly Come Dancing has revealed what Kai Widdrington and AJ Odudu say to each other as they take to the ballroom floor in a video exposing their hidden microphones.

The couple has been storming the leaderboard throughout this year’s competition and following some heated performances, fans have speculated if their partnership has developed into something more romantic.

Now the show’s official Twitter account has unveiled what AJ and professional dancer Kai told each other when taking to the floor for their Charleston – and it’s hella cute.

In one segment, the duo can be seen pretending they’ve been invited to a glitzy bash, with Kai telling AJ: ‘We’ve got a ticket to the party, can you believe it?’

Seconds later and the presenter is seen miming downing a cocktail before jumping onto a prop chair.

‘Not the drink! Not the drink!’ Kai called out to her. ‘Not on the chaise!’

But after their romantic routine, Kai is full of praise and admiration for his partner.

‘Bring it home!’ he cried out, wrapping his arms around her and yelling: ‘You legend!’

Aljaž Škorjanec was equally enthusiastic for his celebrity partner Dragon Dens’ Sara Davies after they showcased their quickstep to Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5.

‘I love you!’ he roared.

‘Come on!’ he then added before embracing her. ‘Yes partner!’

Comments between Adam Peaty and Katya Jones were also incredibly sweet and supportive, with the pro calling out for high energy during their jive.

‘Hey!’ she exclaimed. ‘Let’s go, 5,6,7,8!’

Following their number, Adam told Katya: ‘I loved it!’ to which she repeated the same sentence back to him.

Sadly though, their routine wasn’t enough to keep them in the competition and the duo was eliminated during Sunday’s results show.

Following his exit, Adam told Strictly’s sister show It Takes Two on Monday night that he is ‘hurt’ after being voted off.

‘I am hurt, but I know that Katya’s hurting a little bit, which hurts me more, because I know how much we have put into this journey,’ he said.

Discussing the impact that training had on his body, he added: ‘Honestly, I can say this now – normally I would keep this under wraps – but my ankles were going, my calf was going.’

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
