WWE Raw: Byron Saxton, Corey Graves, Drake Maverick and more all win 24/7 Championship

Graves won the gold – briefly (Picture: WWE)

WWE Raw saw the 24/7 Championship change hands a number of times with commentators Byron Saxton and Corey Graves both winning the gold.

Two thirds of the red brand’s announce team found themselves in the hunt for the comedy title, which can be defended anywhere and at any time – typically being won and lost in rapid fashion through skits rather than actual matches.

Reggie first defended his title against Drake Maverick in a singles match with the 24/7 rules suspended for the bout.

After some distraction by the usual rabble, Maverick picked up the win to start his seventh reign with the championship.

With the free for all rules back in play, Akira Tozawa then rolled him up to become a 12-time champ, but it was short-lived as Graves scored the pin.

The quick fire roll-ups continued, with Corey’s fellow commentator Saxton also landed his first reign.

Maverick won back his title, but he immediately got taken out by Reggie, who reclaimed the gold as everything settled back into the way they started.

Elsewhere on the show, Big E defeated Chad Gable in a great sprint before getting brutally attacked by Kevin Owens later in the night after the latter’s main event loss to Seth Rollins via count out.

There was also some betrayal in the number one contenders Fatal 5 Way to find Becky Lynch’s next challenger for the Raw Women’s Champion.

Doudrop, who had complained about Bianca Belair getting a spot in the match despite losing since coming to the red brand in the draft, attacked the EST of WWE and cost her the win with Liv Morgan able to capitalise in a great moment.

We also saw Dominik Mysterio, under the instruction of Adam Pearce, put his Survivor Series spot on the line against Bobby Lashley as the All Mighty absolutely decimated him.

Meanwhile, the team of Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, AJ Styles and Omos overcame RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) and The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in a great eight-man tag match.

*WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
