DVLA warning latest – Drivers face £1k fine if they fail to disclose anxiety, cancer or 180 other conditions
THE DRIVER and Vehicle Licensing Agency is warning motorists of a potential massive fine if they fail to declare they have one of 182 different medical conditions.
The massive fine is £1,000 and the government has warned drivers that those who fail to do so and are involved in an accident could be prosecuted.
It is understood that around 1 million people could be affected by the new warning as many have not flagged they suffer from a health condition to the DVLA.
Among those conditions are anxiety, depression and cancer (see posts below for the full list).
It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure they have informed the DVLA.
