INCREDIBLE! Novak Djokovic Surpasses Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in Yet Another All-Time Record

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is having the time of his life this season. After winning the Rolex Paris Masters title for a record 6th time in his career, the Serb has achieved yet another feat. 

Djokovic has now won 86 titles out of 267 appearances on the ATP Tour, making him win 32.2% of those appearances. On the other hand, Rafael Nadal has won 88 titles out of 292 appearances, putting him at a win percentage of 30.13%. The third rival, Roger Federer has won 103 titles out of 367 appearances, winning 28.06% of those appearances.

The only player to be ahead of the Serbian ace is the legend himself, Rod Laver. The Australian superstar won 72 titles out of 212 appearances, putting him at 33.96%. 

Novak Djokovic has climbed heights in 2021

Djokovic has had an exceptional season so far. He has now won the most number of ATP 1000 titles after winning his 37th title in Paris last week; he was tied on 36 with rival Nadal.

Earlier in the week, he ended the year as the World No. 1 player for a record seventh time in his career, surpassing Pete Sampras, who was tied with him on six.

Prior to that, he overtook Federer for holding the top-ranked position for the most number of weeks. After winning the first three Grand Slam titles of the season, Novak has now equaled the Swiss maestro and the Spanish star on 20 titles each.

He had a great chance of creating further history by winning the US Open this year. However, he was beaten by Russian powerhouse Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. He still has a chance of winning another title, the ATP Finals which will be held in Turin. It will be interesting to see how he performs.
