VIDEO: Fan Captures Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Chandler From a Crazy Angle

Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler delivered a Fight of the Year contender at UFC 268. When the matchup between the two was announced, everybody expected a war. But the fight somehow surpassed those expectations. Both men, from the start of the fight, were throwing bombs; each shot aimed at the opponent had the power to knockout.

However, both men somehow reached the end, and Gaethje won via unanimous decision. The fans were going crazy watching the fight, and they cannot be blamed. One fan in the arena recorded a video of the fight from an unreal angle. The video captured some of the best moments of the fight.

Both men were swinging big throughout the fight. Gaethje even got a knockdown, but couldn’t finish ‘Iron‘ Michael Chandler. The fighters landed over 100 significant strikes each, with Gaethje landing 116 and Chandler landing 103 significant strikes. It was a slugfest between the two, and both men were taken to the hospital straight away after the fight.

Two of the most exciting lightweights in the MMA world right now produced a blockbuster of a fight. ‘The Highlight’ came out the victor from the war, but not without respecting his opponent. During the post-fight interview, he had some nice things to say about his opponent.

Both men also posted on their social media, showing admiration for each other. They also clicked a picture at the hospital together after the fight.

After a performance like that, everyone expects Gaethje to fight for the title next. Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier will meet at UFC 269 in a UFC lightweight title fight. The winner should face ‘The Highlight’ next.

Chandler, on the other hand, is now on a two-fight losing streak. He recently called out Conor McGregor on Twitter, to which the Irishman obliged. And certainly, that is one fight that will get the fans excited.
