An 18-time All-star, James has been on the receiving end of multiple injuries over the years. As a result, he has phenomenal fitness levels which has kept him active on the circuit. Regarding his latest abdominal strain, coach Frank Vogel hoped that the former NBA champion’s injury was minimal. He will be re-examined, but a latest report claims that he will return soon. After all, an abdominal strain has caused players to miss an average of merely 3-4 games over the past few seasons.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, James won’t miss out on a lot more action. “He may have to do some reconditioning a little bit, but this is not going to keep him out an extended period. He definitely has shown his age here on some of these muscle injuries like he had with the groin injury two years ago, there’s no doubt about that. But this is not something that is going to dramatically impact his ability,” reported Windhorst. Thus, the king is likely to be back soon.
