Disney+ Day: When is Shang-Chi out plus all the NEW movies coming today

DISNEY+ Day is here – bringing you loads of new TV and movies to watch.

We’ve got all the details about what Disney+ means, and when you can watch Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings.

What is Disney+ Day?

Disney+ Day is a celebration of the launch of Disney’s Netflix rival.

We’re now two years on from the US launch, so there’s plenty of celebration.

There’s a big 75% discount available on the price of the service.

And Disney is dumping a load of new content on to the app too.

This includes some Disney and Marvel powerhouse movies, as well as a few festive treats.

So if you’ve been holding off on Disney+, now is a great time to sign up.

When can you watch Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings on Disney+?

The big addition to Disney+ is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

This Marvel production is the 25th entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and launched in cinemas globally in September.

But the movie is finally coming to Disney+ subscribers free of charge.

It’s available from early morning, at a midnight past midnight in LA, 3.01am in New York and 8.01am in the UK.

There’s also a ‘Making Of’ movie for Shang-Chi too.

Disney+ Day new TV shows and movies

Most Disney+ fans will be excited for Shang-Chi – but that’s not the only addition.

Jungle Cruise is also going wider, after a stint behind the Premium Access paywall.

That’s the epic Disney action (based on a real Disney ride) starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt.

A reboot of Home Alone called Home Sweet Home Alone is also coming.

And 2007’s iconic princess movie Enchanted is also dropping.

Other additions include Olaf Presents, Ciao Alberto, The Simpsons in Plusaversary, The Making of Happier than Ever, The Making of Shang-Chi, Spin, Entrelazados, Fancy Nancy, Frozen Fever, Paperman, The Ballad of Nessie, Feast, Get A Horse!, The Little Matchgirl, Tick Tock Tale, Tangled Ever After, The World According to Jeff Goldblum (Season 2), Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fest.

What IMAX Enhanced movies are launching on Disney+ Day?

You’ll be able to enjoy some movies with IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio, including with Disney+.
