“Never Satisfied” – The Undertaker Details His Wife Michelle McCool’s WWE Career

The Undertaker is one person who will always be in the news. Even if he is not battling in the ring anymore, people still talk about him. Such is the craze of this great man. Fans all around the world respect the legacy of The Undertaker.

Recently, The Undertaker made an appearance as he attended the NFL match between the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. Fans got super excited getting to see a glimpse of ‘The Phenom’. He even interacted with the fans and honored members of the United States Military. But The Undertaker was not alone over there. His wife, Michelle McCool, accompanied him.

Recently in an interview with The Dallas Morning News, The Undertaker talked about McCool’s WWE career and the appreciation which McCool got. Even though she did not receive that much love as The Phenom, there were many people who appreciated her.

The Undertaker said, “I think she’s probably one of the most under-recognized WWE superstars for what she did while she was there and the groundwork she fought for, right, to where the women are now. She was one, when she was active with the WWE, was never satisfied with the role that the women were given.”

“She always wanted to do it herself. And I just wish people really understood how much she fought for the women and the opportunities to do the things the women are doing now. … To her credit, she did get — there was a lot of love. Obviously, there wasn’t the big fanfare, but there was a lot of people [in the stadium] that recognized her and were very kind to her,” he added.

Michelle McCool was a champion in WWE, just like The Undertaker

Though McCool did not have a great start to her WWE career, she proved her worth as years passed by. She impressed everyone with her skills and talent. In 2008, Michelle McCool won the title of SmackDown’s top Diva after getting the better of superstars like Eve Torres, Maryse, and Cherry.

Well, that was just the start of her remarkable WWE career. On July 20, 2008, Michelle McCool defeated Natalya to become the inaugural WWE Divas Champion at The Great American Bash event.

After some successful title defenses, McCool lost the championship to Maryse in an episode of SmackDown. But McCool was so good that it was difficult for the other women to keep her out of the title picture.

She defeated Melina at The Bash PPV in 2009 to become the first woman in history to hold the WWE Divas and WWE Women’s Championship.

McCool wrote her name in the history books once again after she became the first WWE Unified Divas Champion at the Night of Champions PPV in 2010. But after her team with Layla, which was known as LayCool, got shattered, she left WWE after a loss to Layla at the Extreme Rules PPV in 2011. The match had the condition in which the loser would leave WWE, and because of McCool’s loss, she left WWE.

However, Michelle McCool returned to WWE in 2018. They honored her for contributing to the company’s success on the Raw 25 Years special episode. Later, we saw McCool return in the 2018 Royal Rumble where she made the most eliminations (5). Well, she still has the fire in her, just like her husband, The Undertaker.
