“Strip That Belt From Him That He Never Even Won”- Conor McGregor Trashes Jorge Masvidal for Faking an Injury
The last PPV event of this calendar year takes place on Saturday, December 11th. The fight card features not one but two title fights. Dustin Poirier takes on Charles Oliveira for the lightweight belt, and Amanda Nunes puts her bantamweight belt on the line against Julianna Pena. The fight also featured a highly anticipated grudge match between Leon Edwards and Jorge Masvidal.
However, news broke out yesterday that Masvidal pulled out of the fight due to an injury. This has left the promotion scrambling for a last-minute change of opponent for Leon Edwards. Conor McGregor who prides himself on never having pulled out of a fight, took to Twitter to absolutely demolish Jorge Masvidal for pulling out of his fight.
It’s also Jorge masvadal birthday but he a bitch for bottling the fight against Leon. Fuck your “injury” You sign to fight, you fight. Strip that belt from him that he never even won. Hoe in a housecoat. The fuck was that about as well? Last seasons Versace house coat hahaha wtf!

Who could replace Jorge Masvidal to take on Leon Edwards at UFC 269?
After his loss to Kamaru Usman,’Gamebred’ stated that he wanted the toughest fight that would get him closer to a title shot. Edwards is ranked number 3 in the UFC’s welterweight rankings and is on a nine-fight win streak.
However, now that Masvidal will not be able to make it to the fight, there are a host of interesting matchups that are available for Edwards and the UFC. The name that is being thrown around the most to take on Edwards on short notice is Khamzat Chimaev.
‘Borz’ recently fought at UFC 267, where he secured a quick submission win. Dana White has since confirmed that the UFC and Chimaev were looking to get in one more fight before the end of the year. Therefore, a fight against Edwards makes a lot of sense. It is worth noting that the UFC scheduled a fight between the two men three times. Unfortunately, injuries to both men did not allow the fight to take place.
For Chimaev, it would be a good opportunity to secure a win over a top-5 ranked fighter. For Edwards, it would be a good opportunity to build his name up by derailing the Khamzat Chimaev hype train.
