LG 48-inch OLED C14LB 4K HDR TV: £999 (save £400) – buy here

We’re calling this the very best of the Black Friday TV deals we’ve seen so far.

In fact, if this matches your budget and screen size, we don’t think it’s worth waiting to see if anything better comes up.

LG is the second-biggest TV brand on the UK market, and it has won accolades for its line of 4K OLED televisions.

These TVs are basically the ruling aristocracy of the telly market – and it’s not because of their picture resolution.

While nearly all new TV sets offer 4K picture quality, OLED screens feature self-illuminating pixels that offer a richer and more vibrant picture quality.

But the thing about these deluxe televisions is that they don’t come cheap.

That’s why we were absolutely delighted to find that the C1 has been given such a discount: it’s now the right side of a grand, if only by £1.

We also know that a 48-inch screen is perfect for most households around the UK.

Don’t get envious when you see the televisions that go up to 75 or even 85 inches in size – you’ll need a large viewing space to get the most out of these mammoth screens.

(Here’s a tip: the distance between you and your TV should be 1.5 times the screen size. That should give you a rough idea of what size television is right for you.)

Where to buy the LG C1 OLED TV

You’ll find the 48-inch LG C1 OLED on sale at a number of stores right now.
