PSG women’s footballer Diallo speaks after being released without charge over claims she organised attack on team-mate
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN footballer Aminata Diallo has broken her silence after being released by police without charge.
The PSG Feminine star, 26, was held for 36 hours by cops over claims that she hired armed thugs to attack her team-mate.

Diallo was driving fellow midfielder Kheira Hamraoui home from an event on November 4, when her car was ambushed by armed thugs.
Hamraoui, 31, was beaten with an iron bar, subsequently missing her side’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid – with Diallo starting instead.
The French international has denied all claims, however, and has vowed to clear her name.
In a statement issued by her lawyers, Diallo said that she: “Hopes that judicial authorities conclude their investigation quickly and is sure that this will end up showing her complete and total innocence.”
She then rubbished a: “totally artificial suggestion of a rivalry between her and Mme Kheira Hamraoui that would explain why she would target her team-mate.
“This theory does not reflect at all the reality of their relationship.”

The statement from her lawyer Mourad Battikh added: “Media speculation which has already condemned her, without justification, and she will not hesitate to launch legal action if necessary against any defamation.”
“Other far more serious theories are now being explored by investigators that do not involve my client.”
Diallo drove Hamraoui and fellow PSG star Sakina Karchaoui home from the team-organised event, because all three live in the same region of Paris.
But after Karchaoui was dropped off, yobs stormed the car and targeted Hamraoui.
Battikh’s statement concluded by criticising police for detaining Diallo overnight: “given that she could have made a statement without being subjected to constraint.”
