Strictly Come Dancing: Are Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell still dating?

Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell made headlines when they danced together on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, with speculation of a romance rife.
Shortly after the series final, the YouTube star, 30, and pro dancer, 32, delighted fans by confirming their relationship.
They have since shared the ins and outs of their relationship online, and even planned to tour the UK with The Joe and Dianne Show in 2020, which was sadly cancelled due to the pandemic.
The couple also reached a huge milestone in their relationship after buying their first home together.
But are Joe and Dianne still together? And are there any partnerships in the current series that could be following in the lovebirds’ footsteps?

Joe made history as the first YouTuber to take part on Strictly.
He competed in the 16th series in 2018, with Dianne as his professional partner.
The couple reached the final and finished as runners-up.
Their highest scoring performance was in week nine when they danced a quickstep to Dancing Fool and scored 38.
In the final, they performed a pasodoble to Pompeii and danced to I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, both of which scored a nearly perfect 39.

The series was eventually won by Stacey Dooley and her partner Kevin Clifton, who also started dating following their stint on the show.
Following his appearance on Strictly, Joe starred in the Live Tour with Dianne, and the pair made history by winning 25 shows in a row against six other couples, and later became the overall winners, winning 28 out of 29 shows.
In August 2019, Joe began took over as co-host on the official Strictly Come Dancing podcast, and danced in the Christmas special later that year, finishing second.

Joe and Dianne confirmed their relationship with an adorable Instagram snap after the series final.
Sharing a photo of the two gazing into one another’s eyes, Joe wrote: ‘I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special,’ which still melts out hearts today!
Fans of Joanne, as they’ve become known, will be pleased to hear the couple are still going strong.
In February this year, they bought a house together, and continue to gush over their love for one another on social media.
Dianne has also been taken under the wing of Joe’s family, having met his sister Zoe’s (known as Zoella) baby girl Ottilie, and frequently appearing in her vlogs with boyfriend Alfie Deyes.

Are there any romances on this year’s Strictly?
Joe and Dianne weren’t the first Strictly romance, with the likes of Kristina Rihanoff and Ben Cohen, Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez, and Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev also finding love in the ballroom.
Every year there are romance rumours, and speculation of who will fall victim to the ‘Strictly curse,’ and this year is no different.
Firstly there were rumours around Tilly Ramsay and her partner Nikita Kuzmin.
Nikita, however, has a girlfriend and Tilly says she is ‘single and here to focus on the dancing.’

Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty also made headlines following his Argentine tango with dance partner Katya Jones.
They set Twitter alight as their routine ended and it looked like the pair were going in for a kiss.
The sportstar was quick to squash the speculation, remaining loved-up with his girlfriend, Eiri Munro, who he shares a son with.

Arguably the strongest rumours surround presenter AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington.
Speculation began after a source claimed AJ was ‘falling’ for Kai.
The pairing were quizzed by Janette Manrara on spin-off series It Takes Two, after AJ was heard telling Kai she ‘loves’ him at the end of a recent performance.

Setting the record straight, the pro dancer said: ‘I think that was all down to just the tough, tough week that we had and the fact that we got to the end of the performance and it was flawless and you smashed it, and you did all the lifts brilliant, did all the technique perfect.’
AJ added: ‘We were both just relieved, you were just gripping onto my neck!’ as she momentarily held onto his hand.

Romance rumours remain rife, however, with a body language telling Metro.co.uk that AJ gives off flirty signals in rehearsals.
Who knows what will happen – perhaps we’ll have a repeat of Joe’s declaration of love for Dianne once the final arrives?
