Lewis Hamilton talks about having time for others and himself
Being an inspiration for many, it is no surprise people want to meet the Mercedes driver, and Hamilton loves giving time to people who support him. He mentions the importance of giving out positive energy, and at the same time keeping some for himself.
In an exclusive interview with Mariana Becker, he said, “I always see the positive side of this, everyone is just so lovely, they just want to get a second with you, so you want to be able to give as much as your time. So you gotta give what you can, and then keep some of your energy for yourself”
Being asked if he felt lonely, Hamilton responded, “I think unfortunately with focus, loneliness can come from that also.” Hamilton was also questioned if he kept in touch with his childhood friends, Lewis said, “Yeah so Jam, he’s been my best friend since I was ten, and we speak regularly and are still the closest of friends. But of course, it’s hard, it’s always been hard from the beginning for us cause on the weekends, all the kids would be out playing, I was racing. I really looked forward to the Christmas break.”
