WWE Hits Back at Keith Lee After Recent Health Bills Allegations

WWE recently released over a dozen superstars from their contracts. Sadly, former NXT champion, Keith Lee, was one of the unfortunate victims of the latest round of the ‘budget cuts.’

However, the former champion addressed his fans with a note on eight November where he revealed that all the medical bills, appointments, and surgery that he’s had was paid by himself and not WWE.

Eventually, WWE issued a statement in response to Keith’s allegation on the health policy of Vince McMahon’s company, in which WWE stated that each and every bill was paid by the company and not the superstar.

Before his release, Lee had to take time off from television for over six months because of his heart condition and COVID problems. However, once he was back, the WWE was re-packaging him as a monstrous heel on the main roster.

However, all of this stopped immediately when Vince McMahon and the company decided that they had no further plans for the former champ.

WWE has paid everything, not Keith Lee

Lee issued those statements on his birthday where he admitted that it was not a happy birthday. However, along with his feelings, he also talked about his medical bills, which the former champ claimed were paid by him.

WWE soon released an official note in which they claimed that Lee’s previous comments about the company were “erroneous”.

Here is an excerpt of the released not from the company:

“Keith Lee’s recent comments implying WWE failed to pay his medical bills are erroneous.”

“WWE has an extensive healthcare program for the medical care of its in-ring performers and Mr. Lee was part of this program while with the company.”

“Should Mr. Lee have any concerns over the payment of medical bills, he is welcome to address them with WWE.”

For now, there are no comments from Lee and he is still serving the 90 days non-compete clause.
