Rodgers was reported to be asymptomatic throughout his 10-day quarantine period, which is a requirement for all the unvaccinated players. Following which he was activated back to the squad after meeting all the NFL/NFLPA return-to-play protocols.

Matt LaFleur feels confident in Aaron Rodgers

Packers coach Matt LaFleur stated on Friday that Rodgers was a full participant in all the virtual meetings that were held during his quarantine period. And he feels confident that the quarterback has most chances of starting against the Seattle Seahawks fixture.

“It’s been going great,” LaFleur said on the preparation for Sunday. “Communication’s been there. He’s been in every meeting. He’s been engaged. So, it’s just he’s not with his guys out on the field. That’s the dynamic that you never know. But we’re fortunate to have a guy that has got a ton of reps under his belt, has played a ton of ball, so we’re pretty confident that, provided he checks out well, he can go out there and play at a high level.”

Although when asked about Rodgers’ status in Sunday’s game, the coach said: “Yeah, but you know, a lot of things [can] happen. So just like we told Jordan, ‘You’ve got to be ready to go.’ And if that’s the route we go, then he’ll be ready.”
