Conor McGregor sets sights on blockbuster rematch with Max Holloway with menacing video eyeing down former UFC rival
CONOR MCGREGOR has seemingly his sights on rematching with former featherweight rival Max Holloway in his comeback fight.
The fan favourites locked horns with one another eight years ago when they were a pair of up-and-coming 145-pounders looking to make their mark in the division.

McGregor got the better of the Hawaiian that night in Boston but has long pined for a second showdown.
And moments after Holloway’s UFC Vegas 42 victory over Yair Rodriguez, the Irishman made it clear he wants the next crack at Blessed.
Shortly after the result of the pair’s epic main event was announced, McGregor posted a video of himself pacing up and down as he watched announcer Joe Martinez introduce Holloway.
The Irishman – who was topless and appeared to be donning tracksuit bottoms – jawed down the television as he strode from side to side.
MMA fans were quick to comment on the clip, with one saying: “Damn, the sight of Max Holloway really had Conor McGregor pacing back and forth around the room.
Another said: “Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway 2 has to happen. Just imagine how insane that would be.”

One remarked: “This how I be watching the fights too.”
Another remarked: “Last time they fought, Max was a young buck. Different story now.
“Run it back. Love both those guys and nothing but respect.”
Shocked by McGregor’s muscular frame, one asked: “Conor looking swole these days. WTF you been eating?”
McGregor took aim at his old featherweight foe ahead of his Sin City clash with Rodriguez, rubbishing his claim to be the best boxer in the UFC.

Hours before the fight, he tweeted: “Hey Twitter!
“The fighter that has absorbed the most head strikes in @ufc history competes tonight. Max Holloway. Can’t wait to watch.
“Best boxer my a** crack. The guys [sic] been smacked the most smacks in UFC history!
“Most shots absorbed is not best boxer guys I’m sorry, and I love the kid.”
McGregor, 33, is currently recovering from the horrific broken leg he suffered in his UFC 264 trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July.
And prior to his dominant display over Rodriguez, Holloway claimed to be on the ‘shortlist’ to welcome the former two-division champion back to the octagon.

He told TMZ: “I got 5 titles wins. 5 title fight wins. I want that 6 title fight win.
“And, if it can be Alex, then so be it.
“But, at the end of the day, UFC discussed with us a bunch of things, a bunch of possibilities. I got a win over the 155 champ in their division.
“I’m on a shortlist for Conor McGregor. Always on a shortlist for that fight. I’m the best boxer in the UFC.”
