I homeschool my FOUR children in paradise – we grow our own food to save money for our bulk meals

Ellen Fisher, a mum to four, shows how she parents, teaches and cares for her family on Youtube and Instagram.

Ellen is raising her family in Hawaii

Along with partner Andrew, she raises her strong brood of 4 children; Elvis, 10, Sandy, 6, daughter Scout 3 and youngest Koufax, who is still a baby.

She has 725k subscribers and describes her content as “sharing my love of healthy plant food, gentle parenting, and our simple island life.”

The 34-year-old has 522k followers on Instagram, a popular Youtube channel and a series of ebooks with recipes she feeds her kids, Epic Vegan Food, Epic Plant-Powered Kid Food.

She has been vegan for 15 years, raises her 4 children vegan and homeschools them all in Hawaii.

The family of SIX all follow a vegan diet and regularly make meals of what they eat in a day.

In a tropical paradise like Hawaii, the family are able to live off local fruits, vegetables and make their own bread at home.

A typical day of food for the family is papayas, mangoes, pineapple, avocados, smoothies, plenty of bananas, home made bread,

Ellen and Andrew’s love story started in high school when she was 15.

They studied together and got the same degrees in Business Administration and got married after they graduated.

Ellen previously worked as a waitress, but now earns most of her money through sponsorships on Youtube and Instagram.

Ellen even has her own podcast, called The Ellen Fisher podcast where she gets experts in, debates the vegan diet and talks to native Hawaiians.

The couple managed to buy their first ever house in Paia, Maui a few years ago.

In 2018, they bought their current home on the other side of the island of Maui.

Ellen shares how they cut living costs by mainly growing their own fruit, – including bananas – and vegetables, which they grow on their allotment.

They also baking their own bread, storing homemade jam and sauces in jars, so they don’t have to go to the supermarket as often.

She makes muffins, veggie broth, sauerkraut, and hummus with the help of her kids.

They moved to Maui, Hawaii when they had their first child
