WATCH: Kyle Lowry Elbowed in the Face and Hit on the Groin in Intense NBA Moment

The Utah Jazz’s atrocious performance against the Miami Heat left them on the losing end when the final buzzer went off. Utah was obviously quite desperate to make as many buckets as possible throughout, as they trailed for the most part of the game. And in the midst of that, one of Heat’s players, Kyle Lowry, got injured thanks to Donovan Mitchell.

This did not come as a surprise because the Jazz seems to have gotten rougher and rougher with their game. With the contribution that Kyle made to Miami’s victory, if the injury would have been serious, it’s possible the game would have ended in Utah’s favour.

The fourth quarter had just begun, and the Utah Jazz realized that they needed to rally back to catch up to the Miami Heat‘s lead over them. In the first three-quarters, the Heat had established full control. So, the Western Conference team was too late in its attempt to gain it back. The game ended with victory written all over Miami. However, one minor error in their rival’s ways could have cost them heavily.

The first quarter had just begun, when Donovan Mitchell was seen driving towards the bucket. In his way was Kyle Lowry, who got elbowed to his face, falling down on the court and even seemed to have injured his groin. The 35-year-old guard was then seen making his way ti the locker room while limping. Thankfully, a few moments later, Lowry was back on the court with his team.

The Heat was already at a big disadvantage as they were playing without their superstar Jimmy Butler because of an ankle injury. On top of that, Markieff Morris was also ruled before entering this matchup. So, if it wasn’t for Tyler Herro‘s 27-point performance, paired with Lowry’s 21 points, and Duncan Robinson’s 22 points, the result would have been very different.

The offensive rebounds absolutely humiliated the Jazz. On top of that, this game had many scary moments, with players like Rudy Gobert and Royce O’Neal walking off the court with injury scares. Although none of them stayed out too long, they certainly seemed shaken up.

Their biggest mistake was letting Miami take charge in the first quarter itself. In the beginning, Utah Jazz was barely alive. Everyone had their doubts whether they” even reach the double-digits on the scoreboard. However, if it wasn’t for Jordan Clarkson’s heroics, their situation might have worsened.

Miami took complete advantage of Utah’s messed-up team. Unless they get their act together, other teams are going to eat them alive. And they will also lose the decent record they have put up in the West so far.
