Dale Earnhardt Jr Makes a Bold Proclamation Regarding Josh Berry After His Battle of the Stars Heroics

On Sunday, Josh Berry competed in the Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars. The venue for this particular race was at the All American Speedway in Jacksonville. Berry went on to win the race in spectacular fashion, and Dale Earnhardt Jr definitely appreciated it.

It is worth mentioning that the Tennessee native is a fairly good driver in the Late Model scene. However, the JR Motorsports driver enjoyed himself thoroughly on the new track. Speaking after the race, he said, “It’s really special. That was exciting for me to come somewhere new and the Goodyear family, here, they have put in a lot of effort to fix this place up and build it up. You can tell they are very passionate about what they’re doing.”

How did Josh Berry win the race?

Once the lights turned green, Berry rocketed into the lead and refused to surrender it. That Sunday, the JR Motorsports driver led the final 43 laps in the late model event and stormed to victory. To make matters even better, this was his maiden race at the Goodyear All American Speedway.

Over there, Berry drove the #8 JR Motorsports late model car and triumphed ahead of Justin Johnson. Needless to say, Johnson acknowledged Berry’s win and went over to personally congratulate him. Behind them were Connor Hall, Carter Langley, and Conner Jones, respectively.

Of course, Josh Berry did not have things easy, as he had to fend off Chad McCumbee for a while. Sadly for the latter, he soon dropped down the order and eventually finished sixth. Other notable competitors were NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Tate Fogleman in seventh, and Amber Slagle in 12th.

Now, Berry will be looking forward to the 2022 Xfinity Series season, as he will compete full-time in the #8 JR Motorsports car. On the sponsorship front, he will be aided by Tire Pros for the upcoming season and will want to add to his two wins.
