Marilyn Manson has been accused of locking women up in a small soundproof room, in a bid to ‘punish’ them.
Multiple women have come forward with allegations of physical, sexual, emotional and financial abuse against the 52-year-old over the last few months.
In a bombshell report from the Rolling Stone, which includes accounts of his accusers, the singer – real name Brian Werner – allegedly converted a cramped glass vocal booth in his West Hollywood flat into a ‘cell’, and tortured women as punishment for perceived minor transgressions.
The investigation states that he described the confinement booth as the ‘Bad Girls’ Room’ and would banish girlfriends inside for lengthy spells.
Ex-girlfriend Ashley Morgan Smithline, who has accused him of sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment, alleged that he repeatedly forced her into the space for hours.
‘At first, he made it sound cool,’ she told the publication. ‘Then, he made it sound very punitive. Even if I was screaming, no one would hear me.

‘First you fight, and he enjoys the struggle. I learned to not fight it, because that was giving him what he wanted. I just went somewhere else in my head.’
Former assistant Ashley Walters, who is suing Manson for a sexual assault, claimed he would ‘brag’ to people about the room.
‘He always had a joking, bragging tone,’ she said, with another former assistant adding that it was ‘common knowledge’ that everyone called the booth by that name.
Manson himself described the room in an interview, telling a magazine in 2012: ‘If anyone’s bad, I can lock them in it, and it’s soundproof.’

The Rolling Stone states that the rest of his home was ‘decorated’ with blood, with black furniture, carpets, curtains and decorations.
His ex-girlfriends described the flat as a ‘black refrigerator’ and a ‘meat locker’, referring to the cold temperatures he would reportedly keep the rooms at, and claimed he would ‘throw tantrums’ if this was adjusted.
Many women have spoken out with allegations of abuse against the star in the last year, including former partners Evan Rachel Wood and Esme Bianco.

Manson has yet to speak out over the Rolling Stone investigation, but previously denied all allegations against him in a statement, which read: ‘Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.
‘My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.’
