WATCH: 6′6″ Tall Warriors’ Draymond Green OUTJUMPED by 6′1″ Hornets Player in Insane NBA Sequence

The Charlotte Hornets once again defied the odds in their recent matchup. They took down the Golden State Warriors to improve their record to 8-7 for the season. They snapped the Warriors’ 7-game win streak to hand them their second loss of the season. However, this wouldn’t have been possible without some clutch plays from Miles Bridges and Terry Rozier.

The Hornets-Warriors game was a close contest all game long. After being level at the half, it became a two quarter game for either side. After falling behind in the third quarter, the Hornets came back in a wild final quarter to steal the game over the Warriors.

However, an important play came from guard, Terry Rozier as he took off against Warriors’ Draymond Green.

Terry Rozier leap nails down the Warriors

The Hornets-Warriors’ fourth quarter was wild with both teams struggling to score. However, while the Hornets held a two-point lead with 15 seconds on the clock, a jump ball took place.

Terry Rozier went up against 6’6 Draymond Green in a crazy sequence. The 6’1 guard leaped over Green and won the jump ball for the Hornets. The ball possession was important as Rozier went to the line and sealed the game.

However, the Warriors had a chance to level the game prior to the jump ball when Kevon Looney went to the line while they were down two points. But the center missed both free throws, which eventually led to the unsuccessful jump ball. Rozier came up big in clutch once again as the Hornets won 106-104.

Stephen Curry had a rare off night (against his standards) as he missed to be off-target. He ended the game with 24 points, 10 assists, and 3 steals while shooting just 31% from the field. However, Andrew Wiggins was on fire, scoring 28 points on 12-19 from the field. The Warriors were poor from downtown, shooting just 22% from beyond the arc which led to their loss.

Miles Bridges was the star of the show leading the Hornets with 22 points, including a clutch hook shot. Moreover, LaMelo Ball tallied 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in the win. Terry Rozier also came up big with 20 points as he put the finishing touches with clutch free throws.

The Hornets have now beaten two great teams back to back and they continue to impress. For the Warriors, they had a below par shooting night which came to bite them later. Do you think the Golden State Warriors will bounce back? Let us know in the comments below.
