EastEnders spoilers: Sharon Watts becomes suspicious of Jada’s story about baby Alyssa

SHARON Watts will start to have doubts over baby Alyssa in EastEnders next week.

The businesswoman – who is played by actress Letitia Dean in the ITV soap – was shocked when Jada left the baby on her doorstep.

At first she thought the baby was Zack’s but it quickly emerged that Denny is the father.

He fathered Alyssa – according to Jada – in the weeks before his death aged just 13.

And while Sharon had come to accept Alyssa as her granddaughter, next week things will take a turn.

Sharon tells Phil about Alyssa, as Kat watches on, and she reveals she’s applying for joint custody. 

Later Phil gets a gift for Sharon and Alyssa, but it doesn’t last long.

Phil is checking in on Sharon and Alyssa when Jada turns up. Not trusting Jada, Phil opens up to Kat. 

Phil returns to Sharon’s and Jada answers the door and he questions her  about why she left Alyssa on the doorstep. 

He tells Jada to walk away again just as Sharon enters, appalled at what she’s heard.

Phil insists to Sharon that Jada can’t be trusted and suspicions begin to rise for Sharon. 

Later Phil takes drastic action.

He approaches Martin and Zack and tells them they need to speak to Sharon.

Insisting she can’t lose any more kids – he makes them see that Sharon needs protection.

But what will she do? And will Jada let it happen?
