Snoochie Shy is heading into the jungle – er, castle – for this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity, and to say we’re excited is an understatement.
The lineup for I’m A Celeb 2021 has recently been announced, with a litany of big names heading for Wales for the new series.
These celebrities include Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley, DJ Naughty Boy, The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge, BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin, former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, and former professional footballer David Ginola.
One star set to try her hand at Bushtucker trials this year is radio presenter Snoochie Shy, who recently made an appearance on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox and proved a big hit with viewers.
But not everyone is familiar with Snoochie, and there are a few questions that keep cropping up, like what her connection is to Man’s Not Hot star Big Shaq.
So, who exactly is Snoochie Shy, what is her real name, and who is her famous ‘husband’?

Who is Snoochie Shy?
Snoochie Shy is a radio presenter best known for her Radio 1Xtra show on BBC Radio.
Her show, named simply Snoochie Shy, features the biggest hits and best new music from the UK and around the world, and airs from Monday to Thursday from 11pm to 1am.
The presenter is 29 years old and from South London, and has previously hosted live events including the Mobo Awards.
She has also worked as a model for major brands including Nike, Dr Martens and Vans.

What is Snoochie Shy’s real name?
Believe it or not, Snoochie Shy is not the I’m A Celeb star’s real name.
Snoochie was born Cheyenne Davide on June 13, 1992 in South London, but is by far better known by her stage name.
Is Snoochie Shy on Instagram or Twitter?
Snoochie Shy is active on Instagram and Twitter, and has a huge following of fans on both platforms.
The model and radio presenter boasts 124K followers on Instagram and more than 25k on Twitter.

Is Snoochie Shy married to Big Shaq?
Snoochie Shy is married to parody rapper Big Shaq – well, sort of.
Shaq, whose real name is Michael Dapaah, is best-known for his viral song Man’s Not Hot, released in 2017.

Snoochie Shy married Shaq in his 2018 music video Man Don’t Dance, and often refers to him as her husband, though they aren’t married in real life.
