“Love It Fantastic Stuff” – Michael Bisping Reacts To Khabib Nurmagomedov Talking S**t to UFC Lightweights

Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the most famous mixed martial artists of all time. He retired from the sport undefeated and was one of the most dominant fighters. Nurmagomedov, along with being a top fighter, has always been known for being humble.

However, it seems like he has recently seen a change in his personality. ‘The Eagle’ recently went after many current and former UFC lightweights on social media. All this started when Justin Gaethje, in an interview, said that after his win against Michael Chandler, he deserved a title shot.

The Russian was quick to respond to this claim and told him to shut up and admit that his protege Islam Makhachev deserved it more than him. He later talked to Eddie Alvarez and his long-time rival, Tony Ferguson. The feud between all the lightweights forced Kamaru Usman to chip in with advice for Nurmagomedov and Gaethje.

Former UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping reacted to the whole back-and-forth between Khabib and other fighters. At the end of it, he said, “This stuff is f**king hilarious. I love it. Listen, at the end of the day, Khabib is very, very loyal to Islam, that’s his protege. So, of course, he wants him to fight for the belt. I can understand that he’s on a nine-fight win streak, he’s looking incredibly impressive.”

“On the flip side, Justin Gaethje is at number two. He just that the fight of the year. I think number two gets it. Tony Ferguson is out there, he’s like hold on a minute mo**erfu*kers. Everyone’s forgotten about me. He’s still a badass, he’s still a true fighter. He’s just fallen on tough times lately. And then Usman comes in, and throws f**king Ali Abdelaziz under the bus. Love it, fantastic stuff,” he added.

What Escalated the issue?

The issue started when Gaethje, in an interview with Brett Okamoto, said that he should get the title shot. He said, “I think the travesty to the integrity of the sport would be too great if I didn’t get it (a title shot) now.”

However, Khabib Nurmagomedov didn’t take kindly to this claim from ‘The Highlight.’ According to ‘The Eagle,’ his long-time teammate Islam Makhachev deserves to fight for the title. He didn’t hold back when letting his opinion known.

Gaethje didn’t take the comments lightly and responded to Khabib Nurmagomedov, saying that his protege has only beaten 2 fighters inside the top 15. One of which was a late replacement. He also asked him to get in line.

However, all this back-and-forth between the two men got a reaction from Kamaru Usman. He poked fun at Ali Abdelaziz, who is the manager of some of the biggest UFC fighters. He manages Usman, Nurmagomedov, and Gaethje all three, and ‘The Nigerian Nightmare‘ seemed to suggest that it is Abdelaziz who is responsible for the feud.

In a tweet, he asked both fighters to get their passwords back from him. He wrote, “@TeamKhabib & @Justin_Gaethje y’all both my brothers so do like I did and get your passwords back lol.”
