People usually fail to realize that professional athletes are humans just like ourselves. They are in a constant battle to perform at a higher level and stay ahead of the game. This pressure builds up anxiety, and when someone trolls them for a minor mishap, it could lead to some real trouble.

Even Patrick Mahomes’ mother Randi Mahomes agreed with Mathieu’s action. She replied to the tweet, but later took it down.

Back in July, he addressed the mental health issues of tennis stars Naomi Osaka and Olympian Simone Biles. ”Mental health is extremely important,” said Mathieu. “I think we all have different influences. You know, some of us and some of our influence, you know, spreads far beyond the country we live in.”
The Honey Badger also said he was proud of the tennis players for stepping up and taking the initiative. “I’m proud of Simone Biles. You know, “I’m proud of Naomi, proud of all these women who have kind of stepping up taking that initiative to kind of put, you know that mental health First, I think that that is the most important thing.”
Tyrann Mathieu has also praised the coaching staff of the Kansas City Chiefs and said, “I think it’s our leadership that we have, from all our coaches, you know, our coordinators, and position coaches, I think all of them kind of really strain us; they stretch us,” Mathieu continued. “They require us to put in a lot of work; you know, before we actually get to that first game.”
