Great British Bake Off’s Chigs is one of the three contestants through to this year’s hotly-anticipated finale.

The 40-year-old baker will go head-to-head against Giuseppe Dell’Anno and Crystelle Pereira in the last episode of the 2021 series next Tuesday.

Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will no doubt put the trio through their paces, with a carrot cake signature, a Belgian technical, and a cake good enough for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on the menu.

When Chigs is not baking, he likes to spend time with his nephews who make regular appearances on his Instagram.

It was revealed that Chigs had made it through to the final during Patisserie Week, which saw Jurgen sent home.

Addressing the news, the finalist enthused: ‘So that’s me in the final – who’d have thought it? Not me that’s for sure.
