Stephen Curry locks up James Harden

Harden was in a favorable situation. He had an isolation with Curry. Normally, he would easily get pas Curry who is not the best defender. However, on this play Steph played great defense, shutting down Harden’s every dribble move. He also showcased his hustle, trying to get the ball back in bounds, but couldn’t do so.

Curry’s defense has by far been the surprise factor this season. While the guard is one of the leading scorers averaging 28 points, he is one of the best defensive guards as well. Averaging almost 2 steals per game, he is playing great two way basketball for the Bay.

His rise in defense has helped the Warriors immensely. Stephen Curry has contributed greatly to their success with his offense and defense. Unlike previous seasons, he is not an easy matchup as he makes the attackers work. With the way that Steph Curry is playing, the Warriors are sure to be serious contenders once Klay Thompson gets back.
