CORONATION Street fans are terrified for Fiz Stape as they spot worrying signs from her latest love interest.

The mum-of-two has been dating newcomer Phill Whittaker, after moving on from Tyrone Dobbs.

But as ITV viewers watched Fiz already suggesting to take the next step with her lover, they could not help but voice their concern.

It came as Fiz offered up a “drawer” in her house and asked Phill to move in with her.

In the same episode Phill approached Tyrone to ask if it would be OK if he took Fiz and the girls away for Christmas Eve.

Trying to be cordial for the sake of the children, a reluctant Tyrone agrees, despite it meaning he may have to spend Christmas Day on his own.

Fiz picked Phill over her ex Tyrone, who had begged for her to take him back after he cheated with Alina Pop.

And as the new scenes played out, fans headed to Twitter to show their concern.

One wrote: “Fizz’s new boyfriend to good to be true. What’s his angle something secret about him, watch him fizz.”

Another warned: “#Corrie Fiz moving on 2 quick”.

While others compared Phill to the abusive Geoff Metcalfe who made his wife Yasmeen’s life a misery.

One Corrie viewer wrote: “Think Fiz new man maybe another Jeff!”

There was also the belief that Fiz’s cheating ex-husband John Stape could be coming back to haunt her from the grave.

A fan suggested: “Crazy thought but what if it turns out Phil is John Stape’s brother or something?

“He’s too good to be true, that’s for sure!”
