Love Island star Lucinda Strafford reveals she was robbed by a balaclava-clad thief

Love Island star Lucinda Strafford has revealed that she was robbed by someone wearing a balaclava who sped away on a motorbike.

Sharing her ordeal on her Instagram Story on Wednesday evening, Lucinda, 22, wrote in a post shared on her Instagram Story that she was making her way to see the stage production of Disney classic Frozen when someone stole her phone.

She added that it’s ‘so awful there’s people out there like that’, urging her followers to ‘make sure to hold your phones extra tight’.

In a second post shared on her Story, Lucinda took a photo of a toy of the snowman Olaf from Frozen that she took home after the play.

‘In other news this is the cutest thing ever *defo cheered me up anyway) and there’s worst things going on in the world,’ she said.

The influencer added that for all those asking, she hasn’t received her phone back since it was wrenched from her hands.

The incident involving the theft of Lucinda’s phone comes shortly after Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were the victims of a burglary at their flat in Manchester.

It was reported that the couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, lost a reported £800,000 of possessions and jewellery from their property.

They were said to have moved out of their apartment straight away, with Molly-Mae saying in a video shared on YouTube: ‘It was without a doubt the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, to us, I’d probably say.’

The 22-year-old admitted that she felt ‘guilty for being robbed’, as she questioned whether she’s shared ‘too much’ of her life on social media.

‘But I think seeing a lot of things on social media and seeing a lot of people’s opinions about why we were robbed, I started to feel like, God was this my fault? Do I share too much? Did I do the wrong thing?’ she said.
