Former The Mandalorian star Gina Carano has signed on to star in the upcoming Hunter Biden biopic, My Son Hunter.
The actress, who was fired from Disney’s Star Wars franchise series in February, will be playing a Secret Service agent in the independent film.
The movie is reported to be a satirical conservative portrayal of the alleged shady business dealings of Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic President Joe Biden.
The movie is written and produced by conservative married couple and Irish filmmakers McAleer and Ann McElhinney.
According to McAleer, the 39-year-old’s character ‘is a world-weary secret service agent present at most of the Biden family’s dodgy dealings.
‘She provides a voice of truth and sardonic comedy over the absurd dealings of the Biden family and various Chinese, Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs.’

McAleer added that Carano’s character will be ‘present throughout the film’ and will narrate ‘the absurd life and party lifestyle of Hunter Biden and the dodgy dealings of his father.’
The producers claim the movie will ‘explore how Hunter Biden amassed tens of millions of dollars from foreign entities owned by oligarchs, and the controversial interactions between Hunter, his father and other members of the Biden family.’
According to the pair, they want to ‘tell the truth’ about Hunter – who has previously admitted repeated struggles with drug and alcohol addiction – and they turned to crowdfunding to finance the flick.

Lewis actor Laurence Fox announced in September he had been cast in the independent film.
Robert Davi, who is best known for his roles in James Bond movie License to Kill, cult classic The Goonies and for starring as an FBI agent in Die Hard, has signed on to direct.

In February this year, it was announced that Carano had been axed from The Mandalorian as Cara Dune after sharing social media posts online that reportedly compared being a Republican to being Jewish in Nazi Germany, which she later claimed was not the case.
Following the news of Carano’s axing, it was announced that Star Wars figurines depicting the 39-year-old would no longer be made.
