Caitlyn Jenner has revealed an insider secret of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here as the current set of stars get ready to head into the castle.

The Olympic gold medalist, 72, appeared on Friday’s Good Morning Britain where she revealed that the disgusting eating tasks are not as raw as they seem.

She explained that while the foods may be pretty grim to the taste, they have actually been ‘purified’ to ensure the celebrity contestants don’t get sick from eating them.

Caitlyn revealed: ‘They have a doctor there and one of the first things I asked him was – because for me the eating things were difficult – I had to eat a cow’s eyeball, I’ve never done that before and the first bite was by far the worst.

‘But anyway, I asked the doctor “Is any of this stuff going to make you sick?” And he said “Absolutely not, it’s all been purified, it’s all been taken care of. It may taste terrible but just think of it as a really good protein shake!”’

She joked: ‘And I went ok, if I have that attitude I can get it down as a good protein shake. I had to drink this vomit stuff, that was the hardest part for me.’

While Caitlyn took part in the series in the Australian jungle, the current cohort will once again be heading to the castle in Wales due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
