Holly Willoughby already preparing for Christmas as she shows off gorgeous decorations

Holly Willoughby has started decorating her luxurious London home for Christmas

Holly Willoughby appears to have made a head start on the festive season, beginning the preparations of decorating her house.

The presenter – who has been absent from the This Morning couch due to illness – gave fans a glimpse of the potential Christmas decorations that will adorn her stunning London home.

She shared some snaps of her potential picturesque plans for the annual holiday on her new lifestyle blog, Wylde Moon.

‘Lots of us are thinking about Christmas at this time of year and November is definitely the time to put the lights up outside,’ she wrote.

‘When the nights start to draw in and it’s already dark by the time I get home, I love seeing my little tree twinkling as I walk up the street. It’s like a “Welcome Home” before I’ve even stepped through the front door.’

The mum-of-three revealed a glimpse of her huge Christmas tree as she put up the lights, before captioning another snap of a seasonal candle: ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…’

Her November mood board also includes plenty of sweet items related to her new dog, golden retriever Bailey, which the star recently welcomed into the home she shares with husband Dan Baldwin, 46, and children Harry, 12, Belle, 10, and seven-year-old Chester.

Earlier this year, the presenter announced that she was launching a lifestyle platform rooted in spirituality, branding it a ‘very personal project’ which will deliver a whole swathe of things from ‘beauty to fashion to energy and healing’.

She has been working on the project over the past year which she said ‘stands as a measure of where I am in life right now’.

The star revealed it was during her time in Australia for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! that she ‘started to unlock pieces’ of herself, discovering alternative therapies including meditation and sound baths, which has influenced Wylde Moon.

In a statement on the site, Holly wrote: ‘I want Wylde Moon to be a place where I can share the things that I love, the lessons that I’ve learnt along the way, the things I see and instantly want to share with others. I want it to be a place where we can celebrate other people, too, where we can shine a light on them, their brands. It’s a celebration of all kinds of beauty.

‘Over the coming months, Wylde Moon will also begin offering a line of curated products, designed by myself with a team of experts. The Wylde Moon boutique will allow readers to browse the pieces that I genuinely love and have spent the last year working on.’
