Kathy Burke has defended the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 3 queens after some viewers were left ‘outraged’ after the comedy roast episode.

The remaining queens – Ella Vaday, Kitty Scott-Claus, Krystal Versace and Vanity Milan – were tasked with taking aim at themselves, the judges, and the eliminated queens of the season in a brutal comedy roast.

As a guest judge, Kathy was right in the firing line. However, she’s made it clear that she wasn’t bothered by the shade that came her way.

‘It’s lovely that some of you are at bit outraged at the stick I got on #DragRaceUK but it was a ‘roast’ so I was fully and gladly expecting a p**s take,’ she tweeted.

‘I actually thought the queens were quite mild. If the heels were on the other foot I would’ve annihilated those b***hes’.

We have no doubts!

Kathy starred alongside regular judges RuPaul Charles, Michelle Visage, and Alan Carr for the comedy roast episode, which saw Ella triumph.

However, after losing a lip sync to Krystal, Vanity was sent home just before the final.

Having made a memorable mark on the competition, Vanity said that the ‘sky is the limit’ when looking forward to her future, saying that she’s going to ‘hit the ground running’.

‘There may be singles dropping, there may be albums dropping, there may be Broadway shows… Watch out. The storm is coming. And the booking fee is up!’ she teased.
