“Soon I’m Opening a Cell Phone Shop Sorry McGregor” – Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager Says Its Not over Yet

Kamaru Usman poked fun at Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz amidst the whole Khabib-Gaethje dispute. While Justin Gaethje is in pole position to challenge for the lightweight belt, Khabib believes Islam Makhachev should get a shot over Gaethje. The #4 ranked Dagestani fighter is on a nine-fight win streak.

The Highlight‘ and Makhachev have been going after each other on Twitter. ‘The Eagle’ has also been part of the mix. Thus, The ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ jokingly accused Ali of handling Khabib and Gaethje’s Twitter handles. He suggested they change their passwords to avoid any future drama.

The MMA manager reacted back to the champion in the same fashion, saying, “Only God can judge me. Let’s make this money. Soon I’m opening a cell phone shop. Sorry McGregor but it’s not over yet.”

People in comments chimed into the banter, saying it was Ali all along who tweeted from Usman’s handle as well. Some accused him of using McGregor‘s name for no reason. As this may have been the case earlier, it could have been the reason the Irish fighter’s name was part of this tweet.

Ali Abdelaziz hit headlines during UFC 268

Abdelaziz had a successful UFC 268, as both Kamaru Usman and Justin Gaethje secured huge wins in the bouts on the main card. At the event, he ran into Dillon Danis, i.e. Conor McGregor’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training partner. ‘El Jefe’ and Ali have had their fair share of beef spouting from the McGregor-Khabib rivalry.

Per reports, Abdelaziz slapped Danis, and then the latter was ejected from Madison Square Garden.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping later reported that Dillon is banned from any future UFC events.

‘The Count’ replied to Dillon on Twitter, saying, “So pathetic. FYI people, d**** was legit slapped in the face like a bitch backstage and then ejected and banned from all the Ufc events. Haha.”

He quickly deleted the tweet.
