How to Watch Venus and Serena Williams’ Biopic King Richard Around the World

HBO recently released the biopic on Venus and Serena Williams’ father, Richard Williams. The name of the movie is ‘King Richard’ and it throws light on the life and times of Richard and how he shaped and transformed his daughters into becoming two of the greatest tennis players of all time.

Interestingly, renowned Hollywood star, Will Smith is playing the role of Richard in the film. He is also one of the producers of the film, along with Tim White and Trevor White.

Where to watch Venus and Serena Williams’ father’s biopic?

Since vaccinations have reduced the impact of the coronavirus pandemic to a great extent lately, fans are lucky as they can go and watch ‘King Richard’ in the theatres around the world. The movie hit the box office on November 19, 2021, and has got an incredible response on its opening day.

Apart from watching it in theatres, the US audience can tune onto online streaming platform, HBO Max, to watch Venus and Serena father’s biopic. However, in order to watch it there, they will need an ad-free subscription which costs around $15. The movie will remain a part of HBO Max till December 19, 2021 i.e for 30 days.

Along with the movie, the subscription of the same will give access of extensive library of TV shows, movies, and originals to its users. The subscription of $15 will be for one month only.

Intriguingly, along with visiting the sets and telling their story, Venus and World No.41 Serena are active members of the film as well. Even though one won’t be able to see them on screen, they worked in the back and are actually the executive producers of the movie.

Will Smith paid a hefty bonus to his co-stars after HBO suffers a theatrical loss

Unfortunately, HBO suffered a theatrical loss since it released the film in both theatres and HBO Max on the very same day. However, Smith made sure that none of his co-stars suffered any kind of losses and thus, in order to compensate for the theatrical loss, he wrote a heavy check to all his co-stars at the end of the shooting of the film.

Those who have watched ‘King Richard’ are already giving it some really amazing reviews. While some hailed Smith’s acting to a large extent, others believe that it is the best sports movie for them. Interestingly, the die-hard fans of Will Smith have started giving him Oscar shout-outs for his brilliant role in the movie.
