Naughty Boy is one of the stars on the line-up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

While the music producer, real name Shahid Khan, is best known for collaborating with big-name artists on huge tracks, he first found fame on Deal Or No Deal which paved the way for his glistening career.

Fast forward a few years and he also found himself at the centre of an online feud with two One Direction stars.

Here’s everything you need to know about Naughty Boy’s appearance on the Channel 4 show before becoming a household name, as well as his very public spat with Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.

Finding fame on Deal Or No Deal

Naughty Boy shot to fame after appearing on Deal Or No Deal in 2005.

The singer took home an impressive £44,000 after making a deal with the banker, despite only having £15,000 in his box.

Presenter Noel Edmonds was a big fan of the artist too and said Naughty Boy’s game had been ‘one of the most enjoyable’ ones he could remember.

‘It ahs been fascinating and I think you bring a real style and presence to this,’ Noel added. ‘I don’t say this to everybody, but I really do mean it. I’m going to miss you.’

Speaking about how he spent his winnings, Naughty Boy shared: ‘The money gave me two and a half years of not working. It bought me time. To be honest, money can only give you time unless you want to put it in an investment.

‘I wanted to invest in myself to become a musician. I wanted to understand how to make music on a computer.’

Beef with Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik

Naughty Boy had an online feud with One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik in 2015.

It all kicked off days after Zayn quit the band, when he was pictured leaving Naughty Boy’s studio.

Louis didn’t take the news well at all, tweeting: ‘Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you’re so inconsiderate pal , seriously how f*cking old are you ? Grow up ! #masterofallwisdom.’

Days later again, Louis was back on the social media site replying to an Irish newspaper who was reporting that Zayn and Naughty’s track was a rejected One Direction song.

‘Is that an April fool?’ he wrote.

Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!

In May, Louis sub-tweeted about Naughty Boy after he had shared a photo of him and Zayn together.

‘Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!’ he wrote.

Louis then added: ‘@NaughtyBoyMusic Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer …. How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else’s career ?’

Firing back, Naughty Boy retorted: ‘Yeah how does it feel mate? You’ve been doing that for the last five years… I’ve got Emeli Sande and Sam smith on my CV 💪’

But Louis wasn’t done, and replied: ‘@NaughtyBoyMusic good for you , well done !! I think we’ve done alright in terms of sales and I’ve happened to write on most. Keep trying!’

A couple of days passed and then Louis was back again, this time posting a mocking tweet in response to an interview Naughty had given to The Sun, where he warned Louis not to mess ‘with a sleeping lion’.

Months later though, it seemed that Zayn and Naughty Boy had a major falling out, with the 1D star slamming his producer friend on Twitter.

@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we’re friends no one knows you .

‘@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we’re friends no one knows you,’ he penned.

Naughty Boy later spoke out on the feud, telling The Sun: ‘I can deal with what he said but he knows the hate I’ve had to endure for him is the bit that upset me.

‘That’s not the way I know Zayn speaks, even face to face. At first I definitely thought he had been hacked. The fat joke thing wasn’t necessary and he’s gettting a lot of backlash for that because a lot of his fans don’t look like Selena Gomez.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
