The actor and fellow campmates Arlene Phillips, Naughty Boy, Richard Madeley and David Ginola were seen walking over to the shower in horror.

Danny, 30, said to his new pals: “Test it. It looks like icicles are coming off it.”

Former footballer David gasped: “There’s no towels, there’s nothing.”

Danny then tugged the chain that operates it and it came off in his hand.

“Oh s***,” he said. “I think I broke the shower.”

“I don’t think he yanked it. I think he pulled the shower chain and it just came off,” explained Naughty
Boy.

Fans were left chuckling at the unfortunate moment, which is likely to cause some issues over the coming days.

One tweeted: “Danny has actually broken their shower!”

Another added: “How many celebrities does it take to light the fire. Well clearly it only takes one to break the shower.”

A third mused: “Danny breaking the shower in 0.2 seconds of being there.”

Danny, Arlene, Naughty Boy, Richard and David have found themselves on basic rations in the Castle Clink after losing the first Bushtucker Trial.

The fivesome had gone head-to-head with Frankie Bridge, Louise Minchin, Kadeena Cox, Matty Lee and Snoochie Shy to win the keys to the main castle.

Matty was seen lighting the castle fire straight away before a rabbit dinner arrived for him and his fellow campmates.

But Richard was seen struggling to light the fire in the Clink. Thankfully, David came to his rescue.
