WWE Survivor Series 2021 preview: UK start time, matches, live stream and more

What a line-up for the women’s Survivor Series match (Picture: WWE)

Survivor Series is just hours away as WWE returns to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for one of its traditional Big Four pay-per-views.

The build to the show has been a mixed bag to say the least, with the flagship elimination matches confirmed via social media as the company only introduced matches with qualifying stakes later in the game.

The event will also see champions from Raw and SmackDown battling it out in the name of brand supremacy, and you’d hope WWE will announce some kind of prize on the line rather than just sticking with the idea of pride.

Outside of the build itself, the card is stacked with potential as every match should deliver, while one in particular could be a very explosive encounter given some real-life animosity between The Man and the Queen.

As ever, we’ve put together our regular guide with the full match card, streaming details and more.

Here’s everything you need to know about the show…

When is WWE Survivor Series 2021?

WWE presents Survivor Series tonight (October 21) with all the action on the main card kicking off at 1am for fans in the UK.

What can you expect from WWE Survivor Series?

As we said, the build hasn’t been too strong for Survivor Series – but it could be a sleeper show in terms of match quality even if the stakes aren’t raised beyond ‘brand supremacy’.

Although Roman Reigns will likely beat Big E, this could be a moment where the WWE Champion overcomes the Tribal Chief – with the help of Xavier Woods, maybe? – and deals him a rare win.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have some real life issues with each other simmering under the surface which makes their bout a fascinating prospect, and a winner almost as impossible to predict as the way it’ll pan out.

The Usos could lose to RK-Bro here to add another crack in The Bloodline as we approach the New Year, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season, while Damian Priest should beat Shinsuke Nakamura in their bout.

The Survivor Series matches themselves are hard to predict given the lack of stakes, but this could be a star-making moment for Austin Theory if he and most likely Bobby Lashley stand tall after dispatching SmackDown.

Xavier Woods should put up a valiant effort and be the last one standing for his team – to be fair, seeing him emerge as Sole Survivor would be a great moment too.

For the women’s match, Rhea Ripley has been hailed by many as the future face of the division, and this could be a way to do cement that – maybe alongside Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan.

The 25-man Battle Royal is a nice nod to The Rock but doesn’t add much besides getting everyone else on the card.

As nice as a Cesaro win would be, Omos could earn a huge victory and even tease some dissention with AJ Styles on the night.

There’s also the possibility of Dwayne Johnson himself appearing at some point, as unlikely as it seems and as much as The Rock has played it down himself.

Just let us dream, OK?!
